Notes from Places of Power |
|
The following are notes taken from Places of Power: Measuring the energy of ancient sites, Paul Deveraux, Blandford. P59 ON Radiation: ‘Radioactive decay involves alpha and beta particles and gammar rays. Natural radiation has always existed throughout the universe; it is part of the network that sustains it. It is one of the breaths of god. Natural radiation is not different from artificially produced radiation except in its source and concentrations in which it occurs. Natural radioactivity pervades the entire environment and is usually the major source of radiation people are exposed to … radioactive, and areas where granite oucrops extensively, or where large amounts of the stone are used as a building material in urban areas (Aberdeen, Scotland, for example) will have higher background radiation counts than areas with less granite.’

‘‘The Earth has a bipolar electromagnetic field which normally has a positive charge of 120 to 150 volts per meter intensity. In response to this ever changing universe, the field also varies on day to day, monthly, annual and eleven year cycles. The eleven year cycle is linked to solar activity. The field intensity also varies according to time, location, altitude, weather conditions, and atmospheric phenomenon like northern lights. The strength of the field varies from .2 to .7 gauss, with an overall average of .5 gauss. Waves pulse through the field with a period ranging from 0.1 cycles per second, or ‘hertz’ to 100 cycles per second, such as preceding a thunderstorm or during earthquake activity.
