Water will flow through any underground passage, fracture of fissure. As it does so it produces its own electromagnetic field often high into microwave frequency. This field will fluctuate depending on what is dissolved in it, how fast it is flowing or whether it is interacting with any other type of earth energy. Interference with the earths natural energy field is particularly marked by the flow of these underground streams especially where two watercourses or other types of energy line cross.

Water lines in themselves may not be real but they do tally with something physical underground’. Tom Graves Page 28. It is important to realise that when we dowse, we are dowsing an information field that is emanating from the physical occurrence underground. The field that we dowse, may or may not represent what is actually occurring underground. In a sense we are trying to locate and define various potentials that emanate from below; potentials from the past, present and future.

Back in the early 1900's Victor Schauberger coined the term "living water" as his research discovered that water had a livingness, or vitality when in its natural state. He discovered that when water is forced to travel through pipes it becomes stripped of its electrons and loses is natural geometries. These natural hexagonal, snowflake-like geometries or water clusters are what are found in the healing waters around the world in places like Lourdes and is what gives those waters their healing properties.
