The site may express itself through us via physical reactions such as shaking, strange movements, even experiencing strong emotions.

The Omphalos is in essence, a neutral zone of geomantic energy or perception point of the psychic landscape. The concept of the omphalos as used by geomancers is a construct that can be found in any defined area - in fact before you find the omphalos you must firstly define the area. The omphalos of a site is created when we consciously acknowledge the boundaries of a site. This is the first step to finding and working with the omphalos.
