P13:     ‘It is well known that Tibetan Monks used bar magnets in a highly specific fashion to influence the minds of the novice monks during their training … Certainly by the beginning of written history, several Eastern civilisations were practicing a kind of energy medicine in which the forces of electricity and magnetism were employed by physicians to influence internal energy systems of the body.’

P65:     ‘Recent experiments have shown that when a human subject is told to  make a certain muscular movement after being given a signal, there is an increase in negative DC current after the signal, but that this occurs almost half a second before the muscular action is performed.. It appears as though the DC is somehow involved in getting the neurons to fire the command to move the muscles.’

P71:     The biological cycles were similar not only to the light cycles of day and night, but also to the daily tidal changes in the Earth’s magnetic field and to the Lunar cycle of 28 days … Long Range patterns of change in huiman affairs had been shown to have some relationship to the twenty-two year cycle of solar magnetic field activity, and some disturbances in human behaviour had appeared to be related to  magnetic storms in the Earth’s Geomagnetic field.’

P71:     ‘Perhaps living organisms detected and derived timing information from the cyclic patterns in the Earth’s magnetic field.’

P71:     ‘The Strength of the Earths’ magnetic field averages about half a guass … its daily change in strength is less than 0.1 guass … Brown’s experiments indicated clearly that living organisms had the ability to somehow sense these minute daily cycles in the Earth’s magnetic field and use them to time their biological cycles.’

P89:     ‘We found a significant relationship between the rate of admissions for people with schizophrenia and manic-depressive psychosis and the ocurrence of major magnetic storms.’

P91:     ‘The conscious mind, under hypnosis, could control the level of activity of the DC control system … since the primitice analogue system controls growth and healing, it is possible that under certain circumstances, conscious thought can cause healing.’

P174:   ‘The sun constantly gives off a solar wind, composed of high-energy particles. These particles travel through space at great speed and crash into the outer layers of the Earth’s Magnetic field, compressing it until its energy mayches that of the solar wind.. The area of interaction between these two forces is called the bowshock region … The earth rotates on a day-night cycle within this compelx field. The magnetosphere does not rotate but remains fixed in space, with one side always facing the sun. Because of this any given spot on the surface of the Earth is in a constantly changing magnetic field. The daily rise and fall in the strength of this field causes biological rhythms.’

P307:   ‘Resonance. In General this refers to  a circumstance in which some aspect of a force – sound waves, for example – has a physical characteristic that matches a characteristic of a physical structure, such as the mass of a building, in which case the sound waves will produce vibrations in the building. In the case of electro-magnetic radiation, resonance implies a match between wavelength of such radiation with the physical size of the structure. When resonance occurs, the power in the force is maximally transferred to the physical structure.’
